The Team

Jaisim Fountainhead was founded in 1970. Over a span of four decades the firm has undertaken and executed scores of projects in almost every aspect of the building industry. Building on a philosophy that is committed to the earth and dedicated to the client, every creation bears the unmistakable trademark of Jaisim – iconoclastic, individualistic and eco-friendly.

Mukta Srinivas

Muktha (Narasimha Murthy) Srinivas has been working with Jaisim Fountainhead, specifically with Jaisim Fountainhead Projects Private Limited (JFPPL) since 2005. She received her Bachelors in Architecture from UVCE, Bangalore (1983). She lived in Gujarat for several years where she taught math and Science before moving back to Bangalore. Mukta is married and has two grown children.

Some of the projects she has handled with JFPPL include the IDEAL HOMES LAYOUT-Hi Tech Layout-Electronic City, Bangalore and the IDEAL HOMES Big Banyan Tree Layout, Bangalore. In addition to her design responsibilities, Muktha coordinates clients, contractors, and vendors for all projects undertaken by JFPPL. She is also responsible for the general administration of the office and the selections of interns.

Shruti M Vedavyas

Shruti has worked at JF as an architect from April 2010, and as a trainee between August 2007 and Jan 2008. She believes that “My time at JF has given me the opportunity to not just design and learn, but to explore beyond the boundaries of what I thought was possible. During my time here, I’ve been lucky enough to work on a range of projects- from compact spaces to bungalows; from institutions to restorations.” Some of the projects Shruti has worked on include the Indian Institute of Astro Physics, Kodaikanal; the Sri Sri University for the AOL , Orissa; a few private residences and an Ayurvedic Spa.

Apart from her time at JF, Shruti loves to write and paint (especially on glass).

Diwakar

Diwakar has worked with JF as a civil/Structural Engineer since May 2000. Initially his work entailed only quantity surveying and preparation of tenders for various projects. Gradually he took on structural design and his first project in the field was the Library Block at the Bangalore Club. Since then, Diwakar has not looked back and has continued to explore the various methods that the Engineering field uses to suit Architectural requirements. Some of the projects Diwakar has worked on include the PGDMS College, SIT (Tumkur), the Tee Jay Hospital (Salem), SUVIDHA, a retirement village (Bangalore), the Amber valley Residential School (Chikmagalur) and several residences too.

Apart from work, Diwakar enjoys traveling and trying out new gadgets.

Usha

Usha has a Diploma in Architecture and has worked with Jaisim Fountainhead since December 2000. Although she has worked on some architectural projects, her main focus at the firm is Technical Administration and Finance. Outside of work, Usha is very busy with her young daughter Kushi.

 

 

 

 

Ashwini Jaisim Bhat

Ashwini is Jaisim’s daughter. Although she did not pursue architecture through her education, she has grown up living in its shadow. A psychologist, freelance writer, and a mother of two, she joins Jaisim Fountainhead (2011) with a view to handling communications for the firm and will take on more responsibilities as and when required.

 

 

 

 

Chaitra

Chaitra started as a trainee at Jaisim-Fountainhead in 2002 while she completed her B. Arch. at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering. Since then she has been an indispensable part of JF even while she married and had her daughter. Chaitra has worked and continues to work on a variety of architectural projects from hostels to homes, and offices to hotels.

Poornima M. R.

Poornima has a Diploma in Architectural Draftsmanship from the RVTI College. She joined Jaisim- Fountainhead as a Draftsman in Dec 2012, and works on a variety of projects.

Outside of work Poornima spends most of her time at home with her family and pets. She sketches, enjoys music, plays badminton and likes to read novels.
